Intercontinental Exchange Inc.’s has gotten the go-ahead from the CFTC to launch the first “speed bump” in the U.S. futures markets. ICE had announced in February that it planned to impose a 3-millisecond trading delay on its gold and silver contracts similar to the speed bump popularized by Michael Lewis’s 2014 book “Flash Boys” to rein in high-frequency traders in the stock markets.
