From Andy and Rob Setters:

Stupidly or not, we have signed up to run the Brighton Marathon in April 2014. We are fundraising for the Motor Neuron Disease Association. Our Dad has MND and it is something our family and friends are facing together with great strength. Below is a brief description of MND:

Motor Neurone Disease (MND) is a progressive disease that attacks the motor neurones, or nerves, in the brain and spinal cord. This means messages gradually stop reaching muscles leading to weakness and then no control over limbs. It eventually reaches the lungs. MND leaves people unable to walk, talk, feed themselves. It’s fatal with no cure.

The MNDA funds research into causes, treatments, a cure, providing care and support to those affected. Their essential work will find better treatments and a cure. The money we raise now will help reach this goal. Please give generously!

It is a great cause so please give generously, every donation is truly appreciated! Donate here.
