In this video, FreightWaves Executive Director Addison Armstrong talks about how the logistics industry has abandoned its old school ways and embraced big data, making it ripe for sophisticated hedging instruments. However, Armstrong acknowledges there will be growing pains as the industry needs more education on the benefits of this form of risk management.
