Charlotte Alliot, the head of institutional derivatives for Euronext, was interviewed by JLN Correspondent Julie Ros at the recent FIA International Derivatives Week (IDX) about the progress Euronext has made in its clearing migration, which is a major milestone in its strategic plan.

Ros asked Alliot about Euronext’s plan to build its own pan-European and internalized clearing house through Borsa Italiana’s CC&G, part of the Euronext Group. Alliot talked about what this will mean to Euronext in terms of derivatives activity and what the group’s ambitions are in the space.

Euronext recently launched the CAC 40 Total Return Future, which has been a great success, and Ros asked Alliot how it has been evolving so far.

Also, Euronext recently launched a new GUI, Euronext Trader, and Alliot spoke about the response to the phased delivery and adoption from the trading community.
