John Lothian News, home of the eponymous news organization founded by John Lothian and home of MarketsWiki and MarketsWiki Education, today launched Futures Discovery, a new video program sponsored by MIAX.
Futures Discovery is hosted by Roosevelt University student Corties Draper, a CBOT Clearing Corporation Foundation Honors Fellow and captain of the Roosevelt football team. Roosevelt University Professor Justin Shea has agreed to be an advisor to the series, monitoring the quantitative work Draper will show during the series, as Draper is getting school credit for his work with JLN.
Futures Discovery is modeled after the JLN program Options Discovery and is intended to teach young people about futures by someone who is their peer.
Futures Discovery is part of JLN’s new futures-centric video series called “Today’s Futures Markets.” Additional programs are in development for Today’s Futures Markets, including one hosted by John Lothian called “Growing Markets.”
