from Richard Baker
Please excuse my direct approach however as some of you may be aware, I am bravely partaking in one of the toughest climbing challenges throughout Great Britain.
On June 20 -23, this weekend, I and some of my colleagues will attempt to reach the peaks of Helvellyn (950m/3118ft), Snowdon (1085m/3560ft) and Ben Nevis (1344m/4406ft), all in an amazing 24 hours!!.
In the spirit of competition, we battle not only against the clock but against each other to see which team can be the first to reach the top! There are some 40 teams taking part in this event and for a great cause.
The aim: As part of our ongoing fundraising efforts we aim to raise vital funds to support the Sailors Society. The Sailors society is an international charity that provides a personal lifeline for the world’s 1.5 million seafarers and their families, in port, at sea and at home. The charity offers practical help, emotional and spiritual support, financial assistance and family liaison.
Get involved: Please get involved as best you can to help us reach our target. Warm wishes, personal and company donations will be gratefully received !
